Day 2 Leuven – The place to Beer

 

30 minutes by car to Leuven, the beer capital, is a small town that encloses the oldest and largest university in the low lands. It is considered one of the liveliest of Belgium’s small cities.
In the morning you visit a small and unique brewery, where homemade beers flow directly from the brewery via a ‘pipeline’ to the tap installation. After the guided tour you can enjoy the home-brewed beers. Fresher than fresh, a must for true beer lovers!
We send you on one of our wheels on your own 'ride'! While enjoying a local champagne beer, you are introduced in the rich beer history. The route through the city, passing by all the highlights, university buildings and the best cafes. You decide whether you put sodas or barley beer in your stomach. In any case: santé, CHEERS!

Day 3 Ghent – Europe’s best kept secret

30 minutes drive to Ghent. A guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you for a stroll through the cobblestone streets of Ghent. We walk and talk about all the famous highlights Ghent has to offer such as the Castle of the Counts, the Belfry, the medieval skyline of guild houses, towers and churches, the cathedral etc. The guide will not hesitate to point out some of the small authentic local shops, bars and restaurants you pass by and are often overlooked as they tend to be hidden deep in the medieval heart of the city.

Day 4 Bruges – Picture perfect

You will discover Bruges, the best preserved example of medieval Flanders. So picture postcard perfect is the city centre, the entire historical city centre is a Unesco World Heritage site.A horse drawn carriage will pick you up from the hotel for a romantic ride along the canals and historical small bridges, relaxing to the gentle sound of the hoof beat of the horse. Day 5 Antwerp – Diamonds, fashion and shopping

90 minutes drive to Antwerp.

The emphasis is on the more recent past when the city developed into a leading fashion centre. During this walk you will stop at shops, buildings and other places that were instrumental in the development of Antwerp as an international fashion city.
